New highly durable security labels for medical applications
Computer Imprintable Label Systems (CILS), the leading manufacturer of high-performance durable label identification systems, has launched a new security, void and tamper label range.
The new tamper-evident labels and seals for the medical industry are ideal for securing laboratory specimens, surgical assets and forensic kits. Providing full traceability and legal integrity, the labels ensure that specimens cannot be altered or substituted - particularly suitable for transportation.
CILS security labels are ideal for any application where a high-strength adhesive bond and longterm stability are required. The labels can withstand chemicals, solvents and extreme temperatures of 55°C to +155°C. A VOID pattern or a tamper substrate can be included in the construction of the labels for increased security or to avoid counterfeiting.
Compliance information and non-transferable data can be pre-printed on the labels, whilst variable information can be added using a PC and laser, thermal transfer or dot matrix printer.
