Thermal Transfer Labels and Printing

CILS thermal transfer labels are designed to achieve the highest performance in the harshest environments, and enable extremely durable labels to be printed in-house, on demand. Labels are compatible with all standard bench-top thermal transfer printers, and provide ultimate print resistance against chemicals, extreme temperatures, abrasion, weathering etc.

Labels feature a unique CILS surface coating, which produces excellent print quality and durability using a range of carefully matched thermal transfer ribbons. Thermal transfer label solutions are available in any shape or size, pre-printed or blank with no tooling charges, and a Label Technology Centre consultant can assist in choosing the most effective materials and adhesives for your application.

Thermal transfer printers are chosen for their compatibility with the widest range of materials, providing the greatest label durability.  They are ideal for all print volumes, from one-at-a-time to tens of thousands, and provide a good print quality (up to 600 dpi).  Thermal transfer printing technology also ensures accurate print alignment, reducing the need for human supervision when printing labels.

There are a wide range of thermal transfer printers and ribbons, allowing you to find the perfect match to your requirements – your CILS consultant can recommend the best solution.
