LSZH compounds are engineered to minimise the release of harmful emissions when exposed to fire. Unlike traditional cable materials, they produce far fewer toxic and corrosive gases as they burn. The resulting smoke is lighter, less concentrated, and disperses more slowly, greatly improving visibility and air quality during an emergency, allowing faster evacuation procedures and safer firefighting efforts. While low smoke polymers and related materials also exist, halogen-free materials are extremely flame-retardant and produce clearer, whiter smoke.<\/p>\n
