Why CILS Doesn’t Use a Catalogue

At CILS International, we don’t offer a printed catalogue of durable labels, and there’s a reason behind it.

We manufacture hundreds of label constructions for thousands of different applications across many industries. Trying to squeeze all of that into a one-size-fits-all catalogue would only lead to confusion. Labels that look suitable on paper often fail in real-world conditions, because every environment and every application is different.

Many companies do produce catalogues based on general categories like temperature range, print method or solvent resistance. But these labels are often designed to cover as many scenarios as possible, making them too generic. For your specific applications, what does “excellent durability” really mean for your exact use case?

In fact, we’ve found that many of our new customers contact us after purchasing catalogue-based labels that didn’t perform as expected in their “real world” application.

Why a Catalogue Doesn’t Work for Durable Labels
