Slide Labels

CILS computer printable microscope slide labels have been constructed to withstand harsh laboratory environments including extreme temperatures, solvent immersion, long-term freezer storage, sterilization agents, chemical resistant and slide staining.

We understand how important it is for labs to have reliable labeling for their slides.

Your slide labels may be exposed to chemicals such as Xylene and Clearify™. This means they could degrade and become unstuck, potentially putting your experiments at risk.

Reduce the chances of needing to collect new patient samples by ensuring you choose durable slide labels that meet the requirements of your lab.

Our labels are ideal for slides that need to be reliably identified:

  • Resistant to staining, allowing for long-term identification of valuable samples.
  • Resistant to harsh solvents such as Xylene and Clearify™, with no smudging or fading of data.
  • Adhesive matched to the slide surface, making a label that lasts the lifetime of your samples.
  • Resistant to extreme temperatures (-40°C to +150°C/-40°F to +302°F).
  • Unique CILS coatings provide ultimate solvent resistance without wrapping in Sellotape®.
  • Printable in seconds straight from your PC and standard laser or thermal transfer printer.
  • Perfect for freezer storage, tissue processing protocols, water baths, and sterilization agents.

Options available:

  • White or color-coded label sets for immediate sample recognition.
  • Label options that resist the staining processes and still keep the label looking white.
  • Print blank, part-printed or fully printed labels with barcodes data etc.
  • Standard or custom sizes available to fit your microscope slide precisely, on rolls or sheets for thermal transfer or laser printing.

Our labels are resistant to:

  • IPA and other cleaning sterilization solutions
  • Xylene
  • Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and cryoprotectants
  • HPLC, analytical and general-purpose solvents
  • Freezer storage
  • Water baths, moisture, humidity
  • Slide staining

What they can be used for:
